How does the PropTy marketplace work?

At Propty, We don't purchase, renovate, and resell properties.

Instead, we're a marketplace similar to platforms like Airbnb, eBay, or Amazon.

PropTy has two sides: 

• Property Sellers/Owners- We facilitate property owners in selling a partial or complete equity of their property to property investors on our platform.
• Property Token Buyers- We enable investors to buy tokens representing fractional ownership in Canadian rental properties starting at just $50.

Listing Process for Property sellers is very simple:

1. Submit Property: Property owners submit their properties for listing.
2. Inspection & Appraisal: A third party inspection and appraisal is conducted on the property.
3. Background Check: Background and credit checks are performed on the property owner.
4. Transfer Deed: The property deed is transferred by the property owner to a Canadian LLC using Quitclaim deed. All properties on PropTy are owned by individual Canadian LLCs.
5. Create Property Page: A property page is created on our marketplace, and owners can start selling equity to investors. Investors purchase equity, gaining direct ownership in the LLC that owns the property, alongside the original owner.

Property owners must maintain at least 10% equity in their properties indefinitely.
